Finished assembling rudder tonight. After thinking about possibly mixing up the two hinge attachment brackets I decided to reattach the rudder frame to the v-stablizer and remeasure the washers needed for the attachment. Sure enough, I needed different number/sizes on the upper hinge.
As for the rest of the night, it was some squeeze and pop rivets. Unfortunately, I riveted all the holes along the attachment side to the v-stablizer before noticing in the manual that I should have left the bottom rivet open. Was able to drill it out but I enlarged the hole a little so I'll have to deal with that later. One other pull rivet was poorly done and I drilled it out, but cleanly this time.
I laid out the parts for the next step - servo tab - but called it a night. Might take a day off tomorrow to catch up on other things around the house.
