Finally tackled this after months of trepidation. Tricky part was to visually transfer a cut line up from the roll bar to the bubble which at this point was displaced ~1.5". Bracketed the line with masking tape. Blocked and Gorilla taped it to the bench. First made cuts up both sides taping the edges back together every foot. Then connected the two ends by cuttting across the top. That left ~2" on each side for the little air cutoff tool. 3/16" blade kerf was easily canceled out by justifying the pieces back together once on the plane. Image 3 doesn't convey it well, but once cut the bubble wraps along the roll bar perfectly. Plenty of smoothing/refining to be done yet, but glad this went so well.
