Gary Hertzler of "Silver Bullet" propeller fame happens to be in my EAA chapter and lives pretty close to me. I ordered one of his propellers and he was nice enough to invite me over and show me some of the process. I actually spent a few hours over with him (not counting that time as part of my build) and we got the propeller rough carved. Very cool! The next evening he had me back to watch some of the finishing process (he had finished carved it during the day).
I went and picked it up a couple of weeks later. Added some pictures just because it is so pretty.
