I cleaned the screws in alcohol and mixed up some epoxy. I brushed on a coat of pure epoxy on the firewall. Then I mixed up some wet flox, pushed the screws most of the way through the firewall and then painted the screw countersink with the wet flox and pushed the screws home. I then added more flox and made some stiff flox. I used a small screwdriver to clear out the small cresent area adjacent to the screw head flat and filled that area with the stiff flox. Then I applied the single ply of BID and peel plied the perimeter. I left the areas over the screws a little resin rich to assure a good bond between the screw head and the BID and the BID and the stiff flox.
