Stole a few minutes and got out into the shop to trim the six ply laminates from yesterday. I removed the peel ply, Trimmed the laminate close to the structure to prepare it for pattern routing, I trimmed with the Fein tool. Then I fired up my palm router with a bottom bearing pattern bit and drove it around the longeron and LWX and LWY. I then cleaned things up with my permagrit sanding blocks and tools. These look really nice! Both sides were completed this session. Next is the fifteen ply BID layups that will be under the landing gear extrusions.
