Brief Description: LH Fuselage Side - Aft Wood Support
Worked the final fit of the LWX and LWY wood. I spent way too much time fiddling to get a perfect fit as if it was going to be a fine piece of furnature! I used a plywood Center Section Spar Spacer I cut out to position the wood accurately. I then tried to over fixture the bonding and ultimatley tossed half of my jig pieces away and just got on with it! I prepped the wood for bonding and then gave them a coat of pure resin before mixing up the wet flox. I then bonded the wood in place, cleaned up the excess flox and weighted it down with dumbbells. Then I cleaned up the excess flox again!
WARNING - The dimensions on the spar spacer are wrong! Should be 6.5 x 8.5, the one in the picture is WRONG. I had to redo this area, do to this error.
