w/ Mark Assemble parts Insert tubes into wings, inside plastic bushings. push all the way outboard. put torque tube in place, align with pins in fuselage. insert tubes into offset ends of push rod. match dots on torque tube and outboard tubes to ensure correct positions. Insert bolts in outboard holes to connect torque tube assembly. required re-bending hydraulic line to allow bolt head clearance. tighten bolts w/ thick washers. insert tapered bolt inboad. required low profile nut to achieve thread clearance.
install nuts onto inset bolts to secure center mounting plate on torque tube. install 12 bolts to install to base of fuselage.
install fork at each end of outboard tubes. install bolts (thin washer on bolt, thick on nut) and tighten.
flap motor assembly clean threads on actuator drive weldment and thread drive nut. apply loctite, then tighten in vice, using strap wrench. safety wire nut to weldment, 9-10 turns/inch.
insert bronze bushings (oil impregnated) into end of weldment and motor flange.
secure motor brackets to floor of plane with through bolts (6). install motor onto brackets - thread weldment out to meet w/ arm on flap torque tube.
