Elevator end hinges gound to fit around rivets 0.25" hole with champher to clearence the weld on the back of the tab. The rest of the elevator skin riveted. To achive the 1 degree ollerance on twist the second rib on left side had to be released from the clecos and straightened. This cause a missalignmet in the holes. Elarged to A5 in that rib to maintain alighnment and solid rivet engagement.
Bottom skin on horizontal stabalizer marked for bracket cutouts. Cutout and debured along with the rest of the skin bottom. Front mounting brackets riveted before assembly. Riveted bottom skin on horizontal stablizer.
