Brief Description: 3) Fabricated R-717/R-716 and clecoed skeleton
I fabricated the R-717 spacer and R-716 rudder bottom attach strips. I trimed the R-710 per the plans.
I assembled the rudder skeleton and then took a break. I came back out and saw that I had assembled the bottom rudder rib in the wrong place, it should lie between the spar and R-405PD control horn (duhh, that is why there is a spacer). I fixed the assembly.
I fluted the R-703 rib and clecoed on the counterballance skin, then matched drilled the skin to the rib with a #41 reamer.
I set up the skeleton to match drill tomarrow and called it a night.
