Today I picked up four cases of engine oil in preparation for the first engine start in the next month or so. Aero Sport recommends using mineral oil (AeroShell 100) for the first 25 hours or so to break in the engine. They also recommend changing the oil at 5 hours and again at 15 hours. They then recommend using AeroShell W100, so I also got a couple cases of that. This should get me through the initial test period.
