Brief Description:  Heater hose in forward baffel floor

I drilled the hole in the right forward baffel floor for the air inlet to the cabin heat muff. This is the location Van's recommends, to take intake air from the forward cowl inlet and route it through the muff on the exhause and route the hot air into the cabin heat valve on the firewall. Some builders take this air from the right rear baffel wall, but I think this robs some of the cooling baffel air flow. Also in my engine configuration the only place the heat muff will fit onto the exhaust is just below the right front of the engine, so the hose routing is better if the air is taken from the cowl inlet area. The hole was finished and the hose flange was positioned and drilled. I installed screen with RTV to the flange and riveted the unit onto the baffel ramp. I also installed and positioned the heat muff onto the exhaust pipe.
