With the flaps installed I checked the travel limits against what Van lists as designed. My RV flaps traveled down 44.9 degrees where Van lists 40 degrees as the max. I called Van's tech support and they said that the design limit is actually 45 degrees so my RV is good. They said that Van's factory RV7 has 45 degrees of flap travel.
While at it I rechecked all control surface movements against Van's limits and found all to be within the design tolerances. Cool.
