The ailerons had previously been installed onto the wings, but had not been secured and torqued in case they had to be removed for some reason during the wing installation. Today I made sure all connecting bolts, washers and nuts were installed per the plans, then torqued the nuts and marked them with torque seal. I also confirmed the adjustment of the control rods from the aileron to the bell crank in the wing. This is done by securing the bell crank in the neutral position and adjusting the control rod length to get the ailerons in the neutral or faired position with the wing.
