Brief Description: Installed nutplates for empenage fairings
Once the vertical and horizontal stabilizers were removed I had access to install nutplates and tap the fuselage for attachment of the fiberglass empenage fairing. I drilled the holes to final size and tapped the screw holed on the fusilage below the horizontal stab. I then drilled, deburred, dimpled and riveted the nutplates to the vertical and horizontal stabilizers, and to three spots on the fuselage. After final assembly of the empenage the fairing will be screwed in place.
