Brief Description: Fiberglassed the Gear Leg Stiffeners
The gear leg stiffeners need to be secured to the landing gear legs with fiberglass tape and epoxy. Last week I had attached these with Pro Seal, but the fiberglass is needed as well and must wrap around the gear leg. I pulled the brake line away from the leg and wrapped the fiberglass tape around at a 30' angle, then throughly wet this with epoxy resin. Then I wrapped another layer of tape in the opposite direction at a 30' angle and wet this. All of this was done as described in the plans.
I repeated the process with the other gear and left it to dry overnight.
