I continued working on the landing gear leg fairings. In spite of the poor directions in the manual, as you go through the building process it all becomes clearer and is not too bad.
The fiberglass fairings are first clamped at the rear edge so that there is no twist to the fairing. Then they are trimmed to the size specified in the plans. I marked rivet holes spaced per the plans, then placed the hinge inside the aft end of the fairing, clamped in place and drilled.
