I borrowed a trailer and took my plane to GEU so Mike Harrison could be around while I did the break-in procedure. We started the engine and it started quickly and seemed to run good. We had problems getting a reading on the Front EGT gauge and after some trouble shooting with no success, and due to time constraints, decided to wait until another day to do the break-in. I took the plane back home to troubleshoot tomorrow.
Mike did a very thorough check of my plane and gave me a significant list of things I needed to fix or change, all minor thankfully. No substitute for experience.
