Brief Description: Part 03 Shaping the bottom of the gear leg
Here I have set up my router with a trimming bit so I can use the axle drilling guide and the router to shape the bottom of the gear leg. I fitted the axle drilling guide behind the gear leg with the trimming bit bearing running on the guide and the face of the router held firmly against the inside of the gear leg. Worked a treat. The images have been taken after the routing was completed.
All work was carried out in accordance with the Zenith Aircraft Company Construction Standards 2007, Zenith Aircraft Company Photo Assembly Guide 2008 and the Zenith Aircraft Company Plan Set Serial Number 65-7512.
