Brief Description:  Glued Foam Ribs and Trailing Edge In

I started today by cutting out the ribs that go into the elevator aft of the aft spar. They are made of PVC foam. I know there is some production airplane that uses a similar technique so it is not "chintzy" or anything to do this. Plus, that is standard construction technique on composite airplanes. Anyway, I used the bandsaw to cut out the ribs and then sanded them down to the plan line. After prepping and cleaning everything, I mixed up the tank sealant (Pro-Seal) and glued them in with Ellen's help. Next I clecoed the trailing edge to the skins. Finally, I put a board on top with some weights to press it down. I didn't realize it at the time, but I should have cut the ribs a little smaller as there is a bulge in the skins where they are. It is nothing more than cosmetic, but I notice it. I might smoosh them down at a later time. I have photos, but not in front of me so I will post them later.
