Brief Description: Back Riveted Reinforcing Plate and Ribs Onto Botto
I started off by priming the bottom skins where the ribs, reinforcing plates, and spars will go. Then I back-riveted the reinforcing plates for the trim cable access. Finally I back-riveted all the ribs on both left and right bottom skins. I really like back-riveting. Once the rivets are taped on, it goes fast and then it is really hard to mess it up. I did have a little screw-up when the back-riveting attachment on the rivet gun pinched one of the ribs. I pressed the pinch out with a hand seamer then applied a little JB Weld to help secure the small crack that resulted from the pinch. I think it will be sufficient. No photos again. I felt like working instead of taking pictures. I will post some tomorrow.
