Brief Description: Countersunk Spar, Riveted End Ribs, Root Ribs, etc
Today I finally was able to put in a full day of work on the plane. I started off by countersinking the aft spars which went ok. A couple of goofs, but nothing major. Then I moved on to priming and rivieting the outboard end ribs together which is a three stage process. Had to remove three rivets when the squeezer slipped. After that, I riveted the hinge bracket reinforcement plates to the forward spar. Finally I finished by riveting the root rib to the forward spar and the elevator control horns to the root rib/spar. I will provide photos later, I didn't want to interupt my flow.
