Brief Description: Dimpled Trim Cover Reinforcing Plate and Nutplates
Today, I got home from work late, but I wanted to put in at least an hour and that is all I did. First, I had to grind some of the female 3/32" dimple die away so that I could dimple some nutplates. These nutplates are attached to the trim cover plate that is on the inboard ends of both elevators. Then, I dimpled the reinforcing plate for 3/32" rivets as well as #6 screws. Finally, I clecoed the nutplates to the plate and actually riveted one to it as a test. I will finish that tomorrow.
