Brief Description:  Finished HS!!!!

For a little bit, I thought today was going to be bad like last night, but it worked out well eventually. Ellen and I started by bucking the 1/8" rivets that attach the inboard ribs to the forward spar. First, it was hard to get the bucking bar into the tight space so that made some of the shop heads look a little bad, but I think they are structurally sound on that end. The part that concerns me more is the manufactured head on a couple where the offset tip on the rivet gun kind of pinched the edges. I think it is ok, but I am going to have watch that area carefully after I start flying it. I will probably add some sort of recurring inspection every 50 hours or something like that. After that, everything went smoothly, my three year-old, Lily, even helped put rivets in the holes for me to squeeze on the rear spar. I am just happy it is finished. Next I am going to work on the wing cradles and fuselage stand before continuing on with the elevators.
