Today started off well. Ellen and I made pretty good progress on bucking the rivets that attach the skins to the ribs and stringers. There sure are alot. We only had to drill out a couple of those. I used the pneumatic squeezer on the inboard ribs on the ends and the middle. Disaster struck on two of the rivets in the middle where the skin attaches to the inside nose rib. I drilled them out and messed that up, so I went up one size to 1/8" and used an oops rivet. I even messed up one of those twice, so that hole had been riveted four times by the time I said enough. In the process of riveting it four times, I cracked the flange of the nose rib. In the end, I just smothered it with JB Weld after I got the final rivet in there. At least it looks ok on the skin side. We also passed 100 hours today (by the evening, it felt like we did 100 hours today alone).
