Brief Description:  Primed VS Skeleton

Today I prepared and primed the skeleton components of the vertical stabilizer. First I scuffed all the parts with a scotch pad. Then I wiped down all the parts with acetone. Finally I spray painted all the parts with NAPA 7220 self etching primer in a spray can. It is less than half the price of Sherwin Williams.I know some people say that priming is a waste of time and money, while others swear by it. I am not going to go overboard with it, but I figure that the tail will be fully enclosed when finished so I don't want any trapped moisture to damage anything.
