Pg. 21-17 Step 1: Separated the F-1236 Step Attach Angles. Step 2: Trimmed the flanges of two of the angles for the Outboard Step Attach Angles. The other two became the InBoard Step Attach Angles. Step 3: Separated the F-1251 Nutplate Brackets. Step 4: Machine countersunk and riveted the nutplates to the Nutplate Brackets. Step 5: On the lt. side, clecoed the Inbd and Outbd Step Attach Angles to the Step Ribs. Match drilled #30 holes into the Step Attach Angles. Completed this step on the rt. side. Step 6: Final drilled 1/4", the outbd. hole on the step into the F-1202F Bulkhead and Outbd Attach Angle. Step 7: Temporarily bolted the step to the F-1202F Bulkhead and Outbd Step Attach Angle. Step 8: Aligned the inbd. end of the step with the beginning of the radius on the top flange of the F1202F Bulkhead. Match-drilled 1/4", the inbd hole into bulkhead and Inbd Step Attach Angle. Removed the step. Step 9: Repeated the tasks for the step on the opposite side. Pg. 21-18 Step 1: Removed the F-1202F Bulkhead and Step Attach Angles from the fuselage. Secured the Nutplate Brackets to the bulkhead and Step Attach Angles using temporary bolts. Step 2: Vertically aligned the Nutplate Brackets, then match-drilled the #30 holes from the F-1202F Bulkhead and Step Attach Angles into the Nutplate Brackets. Step 3: Deburred the holes in the F-1202F Bulkhead, Step Attach Angles, Nutplate Brackets and Step Ribs. Step 4: Primed the Step Attach Angles and Nutplate Brackets. Step 5: Riveted the Step Attach Angles to the Step ribs. Step 6: Repeated the steps for the opposite side of the fuselage Step 7: Clecoed the F-1202F Bulkhead back in place, then riveted to the Step Ribs.
