Brief Description: 1.- Final touches on the saddle
This morning I removed the fiber glass saddle. I had to trim about 1 inch under the leading edge so that I could remove the part. I just can't be more satisfied about how this part turned out. I installed the rudder cable and there is no interferance with the horn and or the cable. I will leave the part alone until it's time to paint the airplane... sometime next year. I have read that polyester resins tend to shrink a bit and that this shrinking may take 1- 2 months... so it will be best to let it shrink to its final size before I do anything else to it.
