Brief Description:  1.- Installing Front Wheel

Installing the wheel was lots of fun. I had to call Zenith to figure out if the red spot on the tire was the heavy side or the lite side. The manufacturer has some pdf files on the web "Aircraft Tire Installation Manual" but they are not very clear since depending on which plant the tire was made, the red mark might be the heavy side, or in some cases, the lighter side of the tire. So that's why I ended up calling Zenith. That also explains why on my first XL, I had to really balance the front tire (back then I thought it was the heavier side) so I installed the valve on the opposite side (Sorry John). Well I can't wait to see how well balanced the tire is ... or is not...

I also had to fabricate a shim that will sit in between the lower gear bearing and the bearing support (I had a small gap attributed to the fact that I drilled the bearing before installing the support).
