Replaced cable ties in engine compartment with high temp cable ties as requested by engine inspector. Connected flap indicator gauge to EFIS wiring harness. Bolted in GPS mount ready for GPS. Fitted and riveted FAB cover extension. Sanded cowl extension and made final cut to fit into FAB. Tested cowl installation and fit with FAB cover extension. Works OK! Obtained correct parts for metal prop and mounted prop with backing plate and forward support plate. Tightened bolts to correct torgue setting. Still need to safety bolts. Made pattern for spinner and cut spinner for prop. Mounted on prop and made final adjustments to obtain desired clearance. Made homemade jig to test proper centering of spinner then clamped in place and marked and drilled mounting holes in both support plates. Then applied fiberglass inside around forward support plate and clecoed in place to allow the fiberglass to setup. Made a template for filling in behind the prop and cut two pieces of .040 aluminum to fill behind the props. Final fit each piece then cut the two support plates for mounting these filler pieces. Worked on one filler and drilled mounting holes and deburred all pieces and primed them ready for assembly.
