Mounted propeller extension and spinner back plate to front of crankshaft. Positioned upper cowl to airframe and marked cutting lines for rear of cowl. Made initial cut on cowl then refined cut line with a long sandpaper block. Secured front of cowling to spinner back plate with wooden blocks to insure proper cowl to spinner spacing and secure the front of the spinner. Drilled and clecoed upper cowl hinges to cowling. Began work on lower cowl by marking and cutting center of cowl for nose gear leg. Fit cowl to make sure cut line allows clearance around nose gear leg. Had a beer - quite a day!
