Measured and cut out for comm radio in sub panel assembly. Assembled panel to test fit. Fit OK. Fabricated side braces for radio stack with aft support for intercom. Preped side braces for painting, then painted. Cut and drilled rear support for radio stack. Deburred, primed, and riveted in rear support. Measured for cutout for wiring harness to intercom. Cutout hole for wiring harness to intercom. Fabricated a cover plate to cover wiring harness cutout and leave room for a grommet for the intercom cabling. Installed nutplates for screw-in installation of cover plate. Mixed fiberglass for wing tip ribs and set ribs into place. Allowed fiberglass to cure, then re-drilled rivet holes. Riveted both cross ribs and trailing edge ribs into place on both wing tips. Clecoed both wing tips onto wings in preparation for final drilling. Plan to use nutplates to allow wingtips to be removed if necessary.
