Other things to consider when building an airplane is partnerships. Although they have drawbacks, I am extremely happy that I have undertaken this project with a partner. In addition to assisting with interpreting the many drawings needed to build an airplane (some of which only show a 'left' and leave the 'right' up to the imagination of the builder!), a second set of eyes often catches items overlooked by one partner or the other - and this has been very helpful in catching potential building errors. In our case, our skill sets seem to overlap and complement each other which has facilitated the building process and kept each of us on our toes. I think partnerships should definitely be seriously considered by anyone undertaking the building of an airplane.
