Installed purchased rudder cable covers to add protection to rudder cables where they exit from the fuselage. Sealed edges with fuel tank sealant and added rivets to insure tight fit.Removed plans brake reservoir and replaced with a see thru brake reservoir. Also replaced the plastic fittings to the reservoir with brass fittings. These changes came from recommendations from Vans. The plastic fittings will eventually leak - better to start with brass fittings. Also the see thru reservoir allows easy inspection of the brake fluid levels (see photo).Continued to work on the cabin frame. Finished drilling of all channel members making sure assembly met the specified channel thickness. Filed ends of assembly to get assembly square. Then disassembled frame for deburring and priming and countersinking. Deburring completed and countersinking started.
