Removed vertical stabalizer. Riveted F-981 to vertical spar. Reamed out tiedown hole to proper size. Then drilled, countersunk and riveted tiedown to the rear bulkhead. Re-installed the vertical stabalizer and temporarily bolted into place. Rechecked alignment of vertical stabalizer hinge brackets. Mounted the rudder to the vertical stabalizer and adjusted the rod end bearings for free travel. Made the left and right rudder stops and checked rudder deflection for 35 degrees each side. Ready to rivet the rudder stops into place. Reviewed wiring options to the rear tail light and rear strobe.
