Brief Description: Prep Right Wing/ Repair Left Wing Tank
Started by fitting and drilling the fuel cap to the right fuel tank. Did not want to start sealing the ribs to the skin, but did cleco them all in place. Then I tackled a problem that has been bugging me for the last week or so. The rivets for the skin to the tank baffle on the left tank were not as good as I hoped due to the countersinks not being deep enough (I thought). So I drilled out a couple rivets and deepened the countersink and then riveted again, and it turned out much better. As a result, I ended up drilling out over 120 rivets, deepening the countersinks, and re-riveting. Turned out much better and I am now really good at drilling out rivets.
