Brief Description: Rivet Ribs to Main and Rear Spar
Riveting day - the day I am glad is here and I dread as well because I am nervous about screwing something up. But overall today went well. I did my share of drilling out bad rivets (about 4) and also had to drill out 9 rivets that were supposed to be left out until later in construction. Completed the riveting on the left wing. Photo 1 shows the one "smiley" I had, Photo 2 shows the consistent shop heads I was able to achieve - for those purists, yes I know that I put the shop head on the opposite side that the directions said, but I had already started and it was working well, so I decided not to change. I leave for work tomorrow (two days early this tour) and will be back in the shop next Sunday to rivet the right wing together and then get started on the leading edges and the fuel tanks.
