Step 3 is to countersink each of the holes as in photo 1, and finally (photo 2) check the depth to ensure it is deep enough for a dimpled skin. WIth all that prep work done it was time to rivet on the platenuts - this involves countersinking each of the holes and then riveting them as shown in photo 3. see next entry
