Today I finished prepping and priming the four replacement stiffeners for the left elevator. I drilled out the elevator to #40 and deburred and dimpled the skin. Ready to start backriveting the elevator skin tomorrow. Hope to be able to get back where I was when I screwed up the skin and move past that point. Only have one more week at home before my wings should be arriving and I want to get the empennage nearly complete (less fiberglass) before the wings arrive.PS. Don't let the smile on my face in picture 2 below fool you, I am still aggravated as all get out that I messed up that skin and have to redo it.
