Today I decided to see if I could save any of the left elevator reinforcing spars by drilling out the rivets. Worked pretty good - I can reuse almost all of them. Lot of rivets to drill out and I messed up on a few when I got in a hurry - only are three that I will not be able to reuse. That will speed up my reconstruction of the left elevator skin. Also today, I went ahead and assembled the left elevator skeleton. I just need to wait for the new skin and to make the few reinforcing spars I need to get back on track.
