Brief Description: strapped leading edge over front ribs
Strapped leading edge with 3 straps could of used one more strap. I worked slow to slowly pull the leading edge into place worked well. Fuel tank in wing temporary. Drilled all pilot holes and clecoed. Some clean up included in total timed worked today. Placed the fiberglass wing tip in place to see how it fit and looks. Fit good but could use a little tweaking with some heat. Another beautiful day in November 10 degrees Celeius. Will have to order more cork from Zenith because I think I went little over board with the cork at least compared to the Zac video I ordered didn't really give that much insight for fuel tank installation. Not enough detail made it look to easy which it tool some time to make it fit right and vent and drain to line up with holes drilled. The bung welds make it difficult to fit proper. Zac vidieo drill small holes and called it good but I am sure they went back and made holes bigger. I must admit the small holes look better. I tweaked my holes to fit well the tank bulges out in back so the fit needs to be aligned right. The end result worked well.
