Brief Description: Antennas, ELT, Gas Vent, Gas Drain & More
Big day taking care of many details. Fabricated brackets at same angle as Dynon in panel for EDC-10A Magnemometer and attached it to 2nd bay cross tie in back. Installed and mounted ELT in right baggage smaller area (where smoke will also go) - installed ELT antenna, installed transponder antenna in the next bay behind. Ran cables, tested ELT. Installed OAT probe in 3rd bay back, extremely tight way back in there. Spent too much time fabricating gas vent, 2 copper tubes tapered against each other, with hole between them joining & solder-sealed & filed smooth. Looks good. Finished gascolator fuel drain & plug. Works very nice. Reinstalled newly powder coated winshield bow & strap, much better. Other small list of minor to-do's done.
