Brief Description:  Deburring Stiffeners and Skins

Finished final deburring of the stiffeners, but while doing this I noticed that there was some light pitting corrosion on most of them. I went back to the LH aileron and there was also some of the same, but not as bad. I decided to leave the stiffeners alone on the LH aileron, but the RH components needed some work.

I pulled out my ScotchBright and Prekote and went to work on the stiffeners. It took a while, but I managed to get most of the pits smoothed out. Dimpled then primed them with SEM green primer.

Deburred all of the holes and edges of the nose and main skins. Put a break in the trailing edge of the main skins, but deliberately didn't break the edges on the nose skin yet. I'll get to that break later.

Finally, I dimpled the holes in the skins common to the stiffeners like the plan say. I learned my lession from the LH aileron why you do it this way at this stage. Put rivets in the holes common to the stiffeners and applied rivet tape.
