Finally completed the last few operations on the LH spar. Five rivets and seven nutplates installed.
Of course it wasn't without some issue. On the first nutplate, I installed the rivet without a nutplate. D'oh! Then it took 2-3 tries on a couple of other because the manufactured head sat proud. If there was a way to screw up a nutplate install I managed to do it each possible way. At one point I just decided to stop and come back later to clear my mind.
At least it's done now. Spars are back in the overhead rack wrapped in the plastic bag it came in. I can finally move on to the flaps next
AN470 rivets went in without trouble. Nut plates not so much.
I'm still not sure what will attach here. Guess I'll find out when the time comes.
