Brief Description: Front Spar to the Skins & Counterweight Install
I riveted the front spar to the skins using the same technique recommended for the trailing edge. I'm not sure if this is one of the places you can introduce a twist, but I was being cautious. I riveted the middle rivet and went about 11 or so rivets up, then 11 down. I kept alternating until the side was complete. Checked it with the laser levels and found no out of plane distortions.
Flipped the part over and repeated the rivet install and twist check. Looked good.
Installed the nutplate on the counterweight retaining strip, trimmed the counterweight as necessary to clear the forwardmost rivets in either side and final installed the counterweight. Next was the installation of the upper rib to close out the area.
