Brief Description:  Rivet spar assembly to skins

Riveted the spar assembly to the shear clips with pop rivets. Cleco'ed the rivet attach strip in place and had to figure out a way to rivet the aft two rivets. It's very tight and even using a thin nose yoke you have to pry the skins apart. I needed an extra set of hands to get the room I needed so I asked one of the neighbor's kids to help. Finally got it in place and while it wasn't perfect, it was good enough. I don't think I could have drilled it out due to the complete lack of space on the shop head side.

The horn brace was riveted to the bottom rib and the rudder horn. The problem is the forward most rivet on either side common to the skin, rib and horn. I think I can do the others common to the horn brace, but the forward on is very tight. I ordered a footed bucking bar from Cleaveland Tools that should be able to get back in that tight space and it's going to arrive Tuesday. If that doesn't work I'll have to call Vans to see if a blind rivet would be acceptable in those two locations.

Update: The other bucking bar arrived, but it didn't fit. I discovered if I used my small tungsten bucking bar it fit inside the horn brace. Riveted the two forward rivets with no problem. I'm not sure why I didn't think to use that small bar before I went out and spent $35 on a new one.
