Today Dan and I started building the new elevator having given up on fixing the twist that was built into the first one. Following the instructions and Homebuilt Help videos as before we went ahead and started fitting all the parts. This time we were much more careful to cleco all the parts completely instead of every other, and to make sure it was done in the same order every time. We also were lucky that almost everything was final size match drilled already with this new kit. We got up through drilling the L brackets on the inside of the center channel assembly and so far so good, no visible twisting anywhere.
