Counterweights for ailerons come in two (2) pieces; one for each aileron. They had to be cut in two sections and trimmed to fit flush within channel ends (see picture 1). Weights and inside surface of the 'V' channels were abraded and cleaned with acetone. Mixture of flox and Jeffco resin was used to bond weights, and spring clamps held them in place during cure.
After cure, excess resin was cleaned up. Additionaly, holes for bolts were drilled through channel/counterweight as per manual. Bolts, washers and nuts were installed and torqued.
