I riveted the leading edge skin to the left HS. This would allow me to tape off the leading edge and prime the fabric (I used PPG Delta DPU217 Polyurethane Primer because Lance has used this product for many years on his AC builds and it has a proven durability). After 2 coats of primer I will remove the leading edge tape and use my color topcoat (PPG Delfleet Essential - again for the same reason stated above.
Pic. 3. I temporarily attached the fiberglass wing tip. This will be prepped, primed and top coated separately before attaching permanently during the rigging phase.
