Brief Description: Re-assembly of Spar Roots on Both Elevators
Took apart, washed, primed and reassembled Spar Root parts. After discussion with Mike and Lance I glued the washers AN960-416L to the Horn Plate EL-007 on both Left and Right Roots. Hopefully the washers will remain in place even if the eyebolt AN43B-25A is removed and replaced i.e.during fabric placement or a future annual. This ideas is especially helpful because of the Service Bulletin for the Left Elevator Assembly which now requires riveted attachment of Anti-twist plates to the spar roots. Theoretically El-022 the "Elevator att. Bushing" could also be permanently affixed with a bonding material. I did not do this.
