Pic. 2. I used yellow caution tape to mark areas that needed attention, For example, if I left something unfinished and wanted to do address that issue when I returned. This was especially helpful if "life" suddenly required my attention for long periods before I could return to the project. I assigned #'s to the tapes and wrote the # along with a description in my log book of what needed to be completed. I also wrote heavily in the Manual but If I had been away from the project for weeks the caution tape helped get me back on track.
Pic.3 I used black marker for the left HS and red for the right HS. Most of the marker would come off during the acid wash but I coud remark if necessary. I always worried about the marker coming off and not being able to identify a left from a right or if a part was upside down. Sometimes l traced the part onto the work bench paper to ensure I would have some way of identifying the part after priming.
